The Milpitas Youth Soccer League (MYSL), was founded as the Milpitas Youth Soccer Club within the North Valley Youth Soccer League in 2003. In 2013, ten years after it’s founding, the California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA) North District II approved MYSC to become a league. It is now CYSA Cal North District II League 22. The MYSL serves the communities of Milpitas California, located in the Santa Clara Valley of the San Francisco Bay Area. Over 1000 boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 18 years old participate annually on recreational and competitive teams. MYSL is affiliated with the CYSA District II for Northern California, US Club Soccer, the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA), the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), and FIFA.

The regular fall league season runs from September to late November, with competitive teams usually playing additional tournaments before and after the season. The Spring club season runs from March to early June. MYSL teams consist of the following levels:
1. CCSL Bay (CYSA Multi-District teams)
2. CCSL Coast (CYSA District 1 & 2 teams)
3. US Club Soccer (Various Competitive teams)
4. Division 4 Recreational (CYSA Recreational teams)
